Rainbow Organizational Structure
All Rainbow Assemblies are members of the Supreme Assembly headquartered in McAlester, Oklahoma. Each State is a jurisdiction under the leadership of a Supreme Officer. In Texas, Mrs. JoAnn Weaver is the Supreme Deputy. Each local Assembly is organized and governed by a uniform code of By-Laws set forth by the Supreme Assembly.
The leadership of Rainbow begins in the local Assembly, where the girls hold elected and appointed offices. Additionally, the Assembly is under the guiding hand of a Mother Advisor, the direction of an Advisory Board comprised of seven to fifteen adults, including parents of girls, and the support of an area or Grand Deputy. All girls participate in leadership roles in their Assembly, gaining knowledge of basic parliamentary procedure.
